Stuart McCall: In Action For Sheffield United Against Arsenal Last Season.
This comes as great news to all at Sheffield United PLC, especially the fans and even more so in a week which could lose manager Neil Warnock to Premier League side Leeds United.

Back to the Bantams and it looks as though McCall might not be considered for the job anyway if he was to apply, so far Carlton Palmer, Chris Waddle and Lou Macari, all with managerial experience with Stockport County, Burnley and Stoke City have all applied for the vacant job at Valley Parade.

McCall told sufc.co.uk He told the club's official website: "I won't be applying for the Bradford job, I love coaching but managing is a totally different ball game.

"The Bradford job has put the spotlight on me and the management is somewhere I want to go but at the moment I'm enjoying every minute of being at Sheffield United.

"I'm looking forward to having success here. We are in a good position, we have big players to come back and if the gaffer can use the loan system like he did last year there are good times ahead," added McCall, who is to begin talks on extending his current deal which expires at the end of the season.
