After joining the Blades from the Owls in a controversial transfer his contract has now ended but the Blades boss would like him to renew it.
Warnock told Sheffield Star; "Owen knows there will be a contract offer waiting for him. I'm sure he'll be with us for pre-season.
"I spoke to him before we all went away for our holidays and I plan to speak to him again next week."
