It is expected that all the games in the six week event will be shown but we are unsure as to which channels will be used. It is expected that BBC3 and BBC2 will be the main TV channels.

At the African Cup of Nations you can expect to see Nigeria who have called upon the services of Bolton Wanderers star Jay-Jay Okocha as well as former Ajax and Inter Milan striker Nwankwo Kanu who made his debut for Arsenal against Sheffield United in that FA Cup game of 1999.

Along with Nigeria you can expect Zimbabwe, which unfortunatly means Peter Ndlovu will be out of action for the Blades while Zimbabwe are in the competition, therefore we should see more of Dries Boussatta.

Frederic Kanoute claims that he can play for Mali despite already playing for France U-21's, should the former Lyon and West Ham United front man get his way then expect to see Kanoute grace our screens.
