Last season the main colour of the kit was white and, was probably the best designed kit the blades had in recent years.

However the last kit had been chosen by the fans and Blades-Mad was disappointed to learn that the same would not be done this time round.

Kozluk, who showed off the kit in just a body colour said; "I was a bit nervous considering the TV cameras were there but somebody had to do it!" said Rob who added: "The painting took about two hours and was put on with brushes which felt OK - but it's now feeling a bit stiff and tight now it has dried!"

Phil Jagielka and Rob kozluk both expressed their opinions on the new designed kit;

"It's the first time I have seen it fully and I think it's great, lighter than last year and the socks are especially comfortable - they are manufactured to stay up without tie-ups but they don't feel tight and itchy.

"Maybe the traditionalists will be upset that it has no black in it but personally I prefer the white or red shorts anyway. The players don't have much say in selecting it, and our main interest is in it being comfortable to play in - if it looks good as well, it's a bonus."

Full-back Kozluk said: "The kit looks great - I just hope the boss doesn't get any ideas about having me body-painted for home games!"

The kit will go on sale from 31 July and the away kit which will be announced at a later date will be available in late August.
