Danny Collins: one for the future? but not with the Blades.
The Sheffield United manager spoke on BBC Radio Sheffield suggesting that Halford would not be wise investment as the Blades do need anymore full-backs.

United already have six full-backs when you consider the Blades have; Leigh Bromby, Phil Jagielka, Simon Francis, Alan Wright, Jon Harley and Chris Armstrong.

Meanwhile the big chief yesterday decided to end speculation with Danny Collins after the Blades manager was annoyed at the League Two's transfer tactics.

''It's a shame that everything has been talked about in the open,'' Warnock told the Sheffield Star.

''We're fully aware of what the player's situation is and what has been going on.''

The main man at Sheffield United carried on his speech by commenting on Greg Halford: ''The lad is a full-back and that's not a priority for us at the moment,'' he continued.

''It's no secret that we have been keeping an eye on a couple of possibilities but he isn't one of them.''
