Paddy has operation

He originally picked up the injury before the home tie with Leicester City which meant he had to sit out the game. Ian Bennett replaced him.

Paddy was still able to carry on for the remainder of last season but today (Thursday 29th May) he has had to have a operation on his knee.

Blackwell said:"It's been a bit of a niggling problem for Paddy and we thought that it would be an ideal time for him to have the issue sorted.

"The surgeon was planning on a clean and tidy and it should be three weeks before he can return to action - just in time for pre-season training."

Kenny should be available for the pre-season fixtures due to start in July.
