Peschisolido Leaves In Loan Shock

Paul Peschisolido: celebrates last goal for Blades v Colchester United in the FA Cup.
The Canadian International joined the Blades in the summer of 2001 after a successful loan spell from Fulham which cost the Blades £150,000. The former Birmingham City man has played 45 games (plus 56 as sub) whilst scoring 24 goals.

He last netted in February when he sent the Blades into Quater-Finals of the FA Cup with a 1-0 home win over Colchester United. His most famous of goal though must be the match winner against Nottingham Forest in the play-offs last season.

The Rams however are facing almost certain relegation to Division Two, the Pride Park club were in the Premier League just three seasons ago but have found life in Division One tough. Izale McLeod is a highly rated young striker and one that could make his mark on the Premiership.

Both strikers leave their clubs initially on a one month loan with a view to a permanent contract. Blades-Mad is very angry that Neil Warnock has allowed Peschiasolido to leave the Lane when there are others who do not hold the same quality's as Peschisolido.

Neither striker will be able to play against there former clubs when the two sides meet at Bramall Lane in the re-arranged game on Tuesday 23rd March 2004.
