Philiskirk, son of former United forward Tony, initially joined the Blades for a month but has yet to feature for them due to a lack of reserve-team fixtures.
The 20-year-old, who skippered Chelsea reserves last season, is hoping to make his first appearance for the Blades' second-string this week against Bradford.
