The Tottenham Hotspur full-back and England international tonight Tweeted that he will be at the Lamex Stadium in Stevenage following the Blades in their quest for promotion back to the Championship.

Walker Tweeted: "Just got my tickets for the Blades match on Friday. Will be there in the stand to support the lads COME ON U BLADES."

Once a Blade, always a Blade springs to mind. Isn't it great that he hasn't forgotten his roots?

The 21-year-old was voted the PFA Young Player of the Year recently, beating the likes of Sergio Aguero and team-mate Gareth Bale to the award.

The prestigious accolade which Walker received has been awarded to many players in the past who have become regarded as world class. He joins company from David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard, Cesc Fabregas and Cristiano Ronaldo on the honours list.

2522395The Sheffield-born Spurs right-back has previous experience of playing in the play-offs with Sheffield United. He does, in fact, remains the youngest player ever to have played at Wembley Stadium for the Blades.

He is now regarded as one of the best full-backs in the country, and arguably in European football. Despite rumours linking him with the likes of Roma and Real Madrid, he signed a contract extension at White Hart Lane last week until 2017.

I wonder if Harry Redknapp could do us favour and lend us him for the final two or possibly three games? No chance!
