If Birmingham beat Preston North End at St Andrews live on Sky Sports, then they will be promoted to the Premier League, regardless on how the Blades do against Swansea City.

Here are the possible automatic promotion outcomes:

Birmingham are promoted if they collect three points over PNE.

Birmingham are promoted if they draw and the Blades draw.

Birmingham are promoted if they lose, United lose and Reading lose or draw.

If United win and Birmingham lose, the final day fixtures will decide who gets automatic promotion.

If Birmingham draw and United win, the final day's games will also determine the outcome.
Reading can still make the automatic promotion spots, but it is highly unlikely with both the Blues and the Blades having to falter in the final two games. Alex McLeish's men will be in action at 5:20pm on Sky Sports 1 on Saturday.
