Sporting events up and down the country have been falling foul because of the weather the UK is currently experiencing. In a statement, Rangers said:

'Following an inspection this Monday morning, the Club remain confident our FA Cup third round replay against Sheffield United tomorrow night will go ahead as planned.

Adverse weather conditions in West London led to the postponement of Saturday's Championship fixture versus Plymouth Argyle.

Fortunately, those surrounding areas previously affected by the snow and ice have improved considerably over the course of the weekend and barring any significant changes in the weather, the tie should go ahead as scheduled.

However, we would advise our supporters to take extra care whilst travelling to Loftus Road, as some pavements and roads still need caution.'

United's trip to Watford on Saturday was postponed because of the icy conditions outside Vicarage Road. Thankfully, this game seems to have survived the wintry weather conditions.
