The Pontins League bosses have now scrapped the old Premier League and will now introduce new format of leagues.

United Reserves will compete in the 'Pontins League Division One Central' where they will face Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley, Bradford City, Huddersfield Town, Nottingham Forest, Stoke City, Oldham Athletic, Rotherham United and Rochdale.

Meanwhile the Blades aim to create a second reserve team that will feature mainly inexperienced players that will apply their trade in 'Pontins League Division One East'. Other teams that will compete in this league are: Grimsby Town, Darlington, Doncaster Rovers, Scunthorpe United, York City, Hartlepool United, Hull City and Lincoln City.

Both sides will play at Sandy Lane Ground, home of Worksop Town Football Club.
