The striker who scored his 1st league goal for United say's you have to make your own luck.

He said:""It's been a long time coming but the gaffer has believed in me and I have trusted my ability. Some people say I have been unlucky, but you make your own luck in this game."

Kevin Blackwell said:"

"Just think of the pressure he has been under; a local lad, golden boot winner and a large transfer fee. He has been mentally strong to overcome that and now he has opened his account I hope he goes on and gets on a run.

"I can't tell you how I felt when Billy scored. You could see how he felt about it and the whole team were wanting him to score.

"He worked his socks off and gave their defenders a hard time. That's the thing for strikers - if you are not scoring you still have to contribute by working hard, and he has continued to do that."
