Scunny took four points out of a possible six this season off the Blades. They claimed an impressive 3:2 victory at home after goals from Crosby, Paterson and Sparrow earned the win over United. They came to Bramall Lane all but relegated but they still put up a fight. A 0:0 draw occurred while they had to play eighty minutes of the game with ten men.
