The Blades’ remarkable first season back in England’s top tier has seen them rip up the metaphorical rule book and they currently sit just five points off the top four with a game in hand.
Their lofty league placing is due in no small part to their form this calendar year – only Manchester City and Liverpool have managed to emerge victorious from a meeting with Chris Wilder’s men since the turn of the year.
Compare that to fellow promoted side Norwich City. The Canaries have found life tough back in the Premier League and are bottom of the table - and have been so for some time now.
An impressive win against Leicester last time out in the league will have offered hope to the Carrow Road faithful, and their midweek triumph over Tottenham on penalties in the FA Cup will have some believing they can do the impossible and escape the drop.

Head-to-Head Record
Not an awful lot to separate these two in terms of previous meetings. Norwich just edge their opponents with 29 wins from their 62 encounters, with Sheffield United picking up 25 wins.
Chris Wilder’s men do boast the most recent victory however, as their second half comeback saw them take all three points in a 2-1 win at Carrow Road back in December. The meeting of the two sides back in December was the first time the pair had met in the Premier League since 1994.

Prediction
This past week has been about as pleasurable a week as Norwich have enjoyed since their promotion back to the Premier League. Picking up three points at home to Leicester and then knocking Champions League-chasing Tottenham out of the FA Cup will no doubt have boosted self-esteem around Carrow Road.
That being said, they’re facing off against a fierce machine in Sheffield United. This side continue to defy the odds in churning out results as Wilder seems to get more and more out of what seems to be his limited squad.
Both sides played in midweek and neither made wholesale changes, so tiredness could play a part in this one. Having had the extra day’s rest, expect the Blades to do what they do best and grind the win out in this one.
Prediction: Sheffield United 2-1 Norwich
