On the Saturday the Blades will not be playing due to their involvement in the FA Cup Quarter-Final as they face Sunderland the following day at the Stadium of Light while Wednesday play a Division Two game at Chesterfield which is also on the Sunday.

Stocksbridge are considered to be the highest placed Non-League side within the South Yorkshire area and really rely on local support, this is where you can become involved to help them break the ground record of 610.

They need just 400 extra fans to to beat their attendance in a game which is a Yorkshire Derby between the two clubs.

Bracken Moor has a capacity of around 1,000 and does have a covered stand to protect fans from the rain. Admission is only £4.00 as supposed to the £18-20.00 you would pay at Bramall Lane or Hillsborough while a matchday programme is also available.

There is also added attraction of former players, ex-Sheffield United Defender Darren Knowles (aged 42) should make the first team while keeper Richard Siddall and Defender Chris Siddall are former Owls. Bridlington should line-up ex-Wednesday Defender Sam Sherman.

How to Get There By Car - From Junction 35A or 36 to McDonalds roundabout From the roundabout take the A616 Manchester, After 2.8 miles take the A6102 Stocksbridge. At the traffic lights turn right then continue for 0.8 of a mile And turn left just before the church on the right (Nanny Hill) Continue up the hill for approx 500yds. Ground is on the left.
