Nicknamed Stretch (after the mid-1990's top Stretch Armstrong) has signed for in Lancashire team in time to make his debut against Barnsley at Oakwell on Saturday.
After recovering from long injury problems the former Bury and Oldham defender has made just three appearances this season.
