Tough Run In Ahead

Both Reading and Cardiff City both have a game in hand over the other four teams who are chasing an automatic spot; whilst the remainder have just four fixtures left on their calendar.

Arguably the toughest fixture out of those remaining is on the final day of the season when Reading host Birmingham City at the Madejski Stadium, it could be a decisive fixture which could determine who goes up through automatic and whom has to battle it out in the play-offs.

The article was written prior to the Easter Monday fixtures so the game at Ninnian Park between Cardiff City and Burnley could make a huge change into how the league table looks now as you read this article - it may well be that either or neither side can finish inside the top two.

However the Blades travel to Turf Moor on Monday, 20 April in front of the Sky cameras and this could also determine their fate, they are already guaranteed a play-off spot but are looking more likely to snatch that crucial second spot.
