Villa Not Happy With A Rover

Unsurprisingly Turkish International Alpay is out of favour with everyone in England and although nothing has been made public it has been suggested that a move to German side Hertha Berlin which leaves David O'Leary needing another defender.

However Olof Mellberg and Ronnie Johnson's contracts run out at the end of the 2003/04 season which means the former Leeds United manager needs to act fast if the club, sponsored by Rover need to find a new defender.

Meanwhile, over in Sheffield Jagielka ha impressed a lot of managers, one of them is O'Leary, the England U-21 International came through the Blades YTS scheme at Bramall Lane.
