Paul Ifill, who cost the Blades £1M in 2005 is a surprise package to the transfer list whilst Steve Kabba, Geoff Horsfield, Chris Lucketti, Alan Wright, Neil Shipperley and David Unsworth have all been made available for full transfer or on loan.
Chinese international Midfielder Li Tie, who has found life difficult at Bramall Lane due to consistent injury's has been placed available for loan only in order to get in some first team practice. His only appearance for the Blades came in the Carling Cup against Bury.
Blades boss Neil Warnock said: "All these players are experienced campaigners and will no doubt be in demand."
