Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough has already been active in his first transfer window for the club, signing Stefan Scougall in a permanent deal from Livingston whilst acquiring the loan services of; Billy Paynter (Doncaster Rovers), John Brayford (Cardiff City) and Robert ‘Bob’ Harris (Blackpool) and may attempt to re-sign Aidy White from Leeds United.

In the other direction he has allowed Florent Cuvelier (Port Vale), Febian Brandy (Walsall), Tony McMahon (Blackpool), Sean McGinty (Northampton Town) and Darryl Westlake (Mansfield Town), whilst Marcus Williams was allowed to join Scunthorpe United on a free transfer.

It’s unclear whether more players will be coming or going into Bramall Lane today but we do know that at 11:00PM tonight the window will close for good.
