ALF Deal Done?

adam le fondreLe Fondre, 24 has netted eighteen goals this season, netting once against former club Stockport last Saturday – scoring his 100th Football League goal ending a goal drought of eight games.

Earlier in the season he scored four as the Millers beat Cheltenham Town 6-4 in an emphatic thriller.

Last summer he was rumoured to be subject to a move to Barnsley, linking up with former manager Mark Robins, but a move never materialised and he remained at the Don Valley Stadium.

However there are unconfirmed rumours that a bid has been placed by Sheffield United and accepted by Rotherham United for their star striker who has the distinction of having never been sent off in a professional fixture.

Providing rumours are correct then he could be a Blades player by the end of the day.
