Should he sign for the Blades then he would become the clubs fifth Dutch player in recent years with Len de Goey, Michael Vonk, Laurens Ten Heuvel and Marcel Seip have all represented the Red and White Wizards.
Incidentally Ten Heuvel, whom made five appearances for the Blades during the 2002/03 season is now with Netherlands club VV Katwijk - they play in equivalent to League One football.
