Sheffield United along with Middlesbrough, Bristol City, Norwich City and Coventry City are all in the hunt for Colchester United defender Marc Tierney.

Tierney, 24 has also turned out for Oldham Athletic, Carlisle United and Shrewsbury and source informs us that a host of Npower Championship clubs, including the Blades have made an interest into the left full-back.
The Blades have already lost out on defender Elliott Ward who joined Norwich City two days ago following his release from Coventry City.
