The 31 year old Central-Midfielder played a couple of games for the Blades during United's pre-season friendly program in 2004 before joining Burnley on a free transfer after he had been released by the Vicarage Road club.
It is believed that the Blades will offer a figure believed to be around £200,000 for the Jamaican's services.
