Lescott, 23 has notched over 200 games for the Midlands club and the central-defender would be keen to move to the Premiership with Wolves falling short of the play-offs this term.

Whilst Kennedy, a long established player who has featured for Liverpool, Wimbledon, Manchester City and Wolves in the Premiership has shown why he was on Neil Warnock's wish list last summer and is expect to once again be a summer target.

However wonderful quotes of between £2-4,000,000 has been circulated for Lescott so are unsure as to how much any club would be willing to pay for him whilst it is expected that Kennedy could cost United as much as £500,000 for the talented Midfielder.

Meanwhile it is reported that a £5,000,000 bid for defender Lescott has failed with Blades boss Neil Warnock making this statement; "We have made an offer for one player but they want £5million for him - we would have to sell a stand for that!" Warnock revealed. "We have targets in mind and we are looking everywhere.

"But in England it is very expensive - we are not close to signing anyone at the moment."
