Jones, 18 has netted five goals in twelve starts and two substitute appearances since coming through the youth ranks at Loftus Road this season. He made his debut in the 2-0 defeat at Burnley last August.
Neil Warnock is believed to be making a £500,000 bid for the youngster but face stiff competition from Premiership rivals Fulham and Glasgow Celtic North of the boarder.
