It was understood that Nigel Adkins was eager to make Burn a permanent feature at Bramall Lane, prior to the close of the transfer window a week ago, but despite a reported bid, this didn't happen. On Wednesday the loan market will open its doors and it is believed that Adkins again will approach for a transfer for the 23 year old.
Burn, 23 began his career with the now defunct Darlington FC in 2009 before being snapped up by Fulham, whilst the Quakers where in the Conference, in 2011. He has enjoyed loan spells with both Yeovil Town and Birmingham City since being signed by the Cottagers, and this season played a full 90 minutes as they dumped Sheffield United out of the Carling Cup.
