The 23 year old who has made 98 appearances for the Canaries is out of contract in January at Carrow Road. Plenty of sources from Sheffield and down in Norwich are indicating that United are close into sealing the deal.

Blades boss Kevin Blackwell said: "We've been looking at loads of people. We have around 15 scouts out at games every weekend so it doesn't take much for people to see them at a game and then put two and two together. To be fair there are probably six we're looking at more than most. But I'm not going to confirm or deny anything because that way it keeps everyone on their toes."

Croft netted a 90th minute winner for the team from Norfolk when the Blades visited Carrow Road earlier in the season. This is the only information we currently have but if we receive any more information, we'll notify you.
