Sheffield United could lose pair Lee Williamson and Kevin McDonald to South Yorkshire rivals Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday.

Kevin McDonald
Trio; Lee Williamson, Kevin McDonald and Chris Porter have been asked to sign new contracts as the three are all out of contract this summer but Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday could both step in and take Willo and McDonald off there hands if they fail to sign new contracts at Bramall Lane.

Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones will be looking to add new players after there promotion from League One - he has already captured Kieran Lee (Oldham Athletic) and former Blades loan defender Joe Mattock (West Bromwich Albion).

Meanwhile Tykes manager Keith Hill will be looking to better themselves from last season. Had it not been for the deduction of ten points awarded to Portsmouth then it would have been the Oakwell club whom would have suffered relegation instead.
