Lucketti, 36 has made two league appearances this season against Colchester United and Bristol City whilst playing twice in strong Blades sides against Milton Keynes Dons and Morecambe in the Carling Cup.
Potters boss Tony Pulis is keen to strengthen his squad ahead of their clash with Sheffield Wednesday at the Britannia Stadium on 20 October but with a thin defensive back up it could be unlikely that Blades boss Bryan Robson would be prepared to let Lucks leave the lane.
