Micky Adams was sacked as Blades boss last Wednesday following relegation from the Championship, but despite no football to be played until mid-July in pre-season the Blades chiefs are quick to find a replacement.
John Pemberton, Mark Robins (ex-Barnsley), Roy Keane (ex-Sunderland), Alan Irvine (ex-Wednesday) and Neil Warnock amongst others have all had their names thrown into the hat but The Sun believes that Di Matteo, formerly with MK Dons and West Brom has been offered the position, if he wants it.
