Horsfield Bid Rejected + New Striker?

Geoff Horsfield, the unwanted striker at Bramall Lane has been a target for a few Championship sides including; Barnsley, Cardiff City, Preston North End, Coventry City and now Leeds United.

West Yorkshire side; Leeds United are rumoured to have offered £600,000 for the former Barnsley forward but the Premier League club look hell bent on gunning for £1,000,000.

Whites boss Kevin Blackwell is hunting for a new striker after Rob Hulse departed for the Blades at a cost of £2,100,000 last week.

Meanwhile Sheffield United, Leeds United and Barnsley are all rumoured to be interested in former Sunderland forward Michael Reddy who looks set to quit Blundell Park after the Mariners failed to win promotion to League One last season.
