Hibernian Midfielder Brown has become hot property of late with several Premier League clubs staking an interest whilst some offers have been turned away.

Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock has openly admitted that strengthening the side will be his main aim more near January with the transfer window now closed.

However United are expected not to be the only club who may submit an offer for the duo with both Bolton Wanderers and Middlesbrough monitoring their progress.

Meanwhile Cameroon international striker Joseph Desire-Job has claimed that both Sheffield United and Aston Villa are keen to sign him, despite the Blades seeing an offer turned down last season when he decided to join French outfit Sedan.

Job said; "A couple of Premiership clubs have been in contact with me. Aston Villa and Sheffield (United) were interested but they reacted after I came to Sedan.

"They haven't sent me offers, but they told me there was a possibility to join them."
