According to The Sun, Blades skipper Chris Morgan has turned down the chance to move to Yorkshire rivals Leeds United this summer...

There has been speculation flying around all over the place about Chris Morgan, Nick Montgomery and Jamie Ward - all supposedly Leeds targets! Today, The Sun say that captain Chris Morgan has pledged his future at Bramall Lane and is eyeing a contract extension.

Meanwhile, the rumours continue over Nick Montgomery's contract situation. Will he sign any of the supposed improved offers United are placing on the table for him? A move to Leeds wouldn't be a major surprise. Afterall, Montgomery is a Leeds fan.

Other newspaper talk has seen Jamie Ward linked with a switch away from Bramall Lane once again. The Mirror are claiming the West Yorkshire side are in discussions with the former Torquay striker. In January, this newspaper said West Bromwich Albion were close to agreeing a deal with Ward, his agent and the Blades, but Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo immediately phoned manager Kevin Blackwell and confirmed the story was a load of rubbish.
