The Saint Mary's Stadium club are reported to pay £3,500,000 to take the England U-21 International down South.
Michael Tonge was linked with Liverpool, Middlesborough and Charlton Athletic last season but nothing happened. Tonge, providing he continues to play will make his 100 league appearance against Reading at the Madejski Stadium in a red and white shirt.
