Tykes manager Paul Hart is keen in strengthening his side ahead of his first full season in charge as they look to win promotion from Division Two at the third time of asking.
It is believed that a fee of £25,000 + £50,000 later depending on appearances and promotion is to be offered which the Blades will accept.
