Will Hanson Be Wilder's First Signing?

Hanson, 28 joined his home town club in 2009 having been snapped up from local non-league side Guiseley for £7,500 and had previously played at Eccleshill United. During his time at Valley Parade the striker has helped steer the Bantams to promotion via the Play-Offs in 2013 from League Two, just a month after the club made history by beating Aston Villa and Arsenal en-route to the League Cup Final with Swansea City winning 4-0. In total he has scored 87 goals in 315 appearances for the club.

Sheffield United supporter AceOfBlades posted on the Blades-Mad Message-Board; 'No ITK or owt like that, just my Bradford supporting mate text to say there was a LOT of chat about this move round their ground 2day.'

New Blades boss Chris Wilder will be looking to bolster his squad ahead of next seasons League One challenge and could look to sign at target-man to star alongside Billy Sharp in attack. Hanson is undoubtedly one of the better target-men in League One and has arguably fallen out of favour at City since the signing of Steve Davies from Blackpool.
