A MUST win

Written by Bladesmadeditor
Tuesday, 9th March 2010
Tonight's encounter with lowly Peterborough United is United's second consecutive away game in the space of four days, and, after losing our last six away games in all competitions, a win is a must in a game versus rock-bottom Boro...

2861019

Plymouth Argyle away on December the 5th seems a distant memory. This was the Blades' last away league win. Tonight's opponents Peterborough are on a real downer at the moment, and even their manager Jim Gannon has even admitted that they 'aren't even good enough to stay up'. When your manager says that with 12 games remaining, it does say something, although they are 13 points off safety.

We must come out victorious tonight, otherwise even more fans will be calling for the manager's head - that's arguably a certainty. If we win, though, it puts us right back into the play-off picture after a demoralising defeat to struggling Palace at the weekend.

Let's give the lads our backing this evening - it's the least we can do. If we lose, it could leave us even further away from 6th place.

Come on you Red and White Wizards!

Up the Blades!
