Did You Know?

Former Sheffield United striker Jock Dodds scored an hat-trick for Blackpool in the space of two and a half minutes against Tranmere Rovers in February 1942. Sadly for Dodds his feat will never be recorded officially as it was in the middle of World War II were fixtures weren't seen as professional games.

01. What's the best that could happen this season?

Promotion to the Premiership and beating Preston North End along the way.

02. And the worst?

Relegation and losing to Preston North End.

03. Young player to watch?

Twelve months ago I'd have backed Matty Kay to feature regularly but the strides we've made mean that he's unlikely to feature at all next season. Can't see our current crop of youngsters breaking through unless Simon Wiles gets an opportunity.

04. Most important player?

Wes Hoolahan. A special footballer. We've been very lucky to see a player of his quality in League One. Should be capable of shining in the Championship.

05. Player you would like to get rid of?

Has to be Adrian Forbes. The most disappointing signing we've made. Thought he'd have been much better.

06. Is your manager the right man for the job?

Definitely.

07. What advice would you give him?

Keep us in the Championship.

08. Which team do you most want to beat this season?

Preston North End.

09. Which opposition player will get the most stick?

Every Preston North End player.

10. Where will you finish?

I'd take 20th place right now if offered but I'd like to think we'll hold our own and finish around mid-table.

11. How would you rate Sheffield United and were will they finish?

A change in the management usually means a change in the playing squad. It will depend on how quickly Robson gets the team to gel but he knows how to get into the Premiership from this division. Will be there or thereabouts.
