Blades face Premiership oppositions

For fans of Sheffield United you have two choices of football tonight, either at Blue Square Premier League Alfreton Town where Blades boss David Weir is expected to be present and field a mixed side of first team and some youth (and possibly any trialists).

Whilst closer to S2 the Blades are in action at Stocksbridge Park Steels where a more youthful side is expected to be played out.

Our last visit to Alfreton, in July 2007 ended in a two goal without reply victory for Bryan Robson’s men with goals from Iain Ross and Jordan Robertson. A report from this match can be found at the link below;

-          18 July 2007        Alfreton 0-2 Sheffield United

Both games kick-off at 7:45pm and are priced at £10 adults and £5 concessions for the match at Alfreton, whilst tickets are £5 for both adults and concessions at the Steels – however they have a deal where one U-16 child is omitted free with one full-paying adult/concession, any other U-16’s thereafter are priced £2 each.
