Last Saturday the Blades were against Crystal Palace at Bramall Lane where the game ended 2-1 to United. The Blades took the lead in first half stoppage time when Steve kabba get round defenders on right hand side where he set up Dean Windass who struck past Kolinko.

Aki Riihilahti equalsed for Eagles on 69th minute and substitute Wayne Allison scored the winner in 89th after Asaba put in a low cross.

United don't have any injury's, but Steve Kabba and Dean Windass will not be available as they have already played for other clubs in this cup competition. As Jon Harley, he has not featured for anyone this season in League Cup, however Jean Tigiana has stated that will not be allowed to play against Black Cats.

Possible Line-Up: Paddy Kenny, Phil Jagielka, Shaun Murphy, Robert Page, Steve Yates, Peter Ndlovu, Stuart McCall, Michael Brown, Michael Tonge, Carl Asaba, Wayne Allison.

Sunderland, who are in bottom 3 of Premier League lost 3-0 at Stamford Bridge to Chelsea. Just before the hour mark William Gallas volleyed home on back post. Marcel Desailly (84) and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (89) both scored late goals.

Estonian International Mart Poom is currently at Howard Wilkinson's

team on loan, though he has already played in League Cup this season, therefor he is cup-tied and will not be able to play on Tuesday night.

Possible Line-Up: Jurgen Macho, Jody Craddock, Michael Gray, Joachim Bjorklund, Steve Wright, Phil Babb, Kevin Kilbane, Gavin McCann, Paul Thirlwell, Tore-Andre Flo, Kevin Philips.

Our last meeting with Sunderland at Bramall Lane was in 1998/99 season where Blades were on wrong end of a 4-0 thrashing. Niall Quinn scored two on 7 and 75 minutes, while Michael Bridges also scored two on 13 and 35 minutes.

Prediction: This game is going to be tough but I think Blades never say die attitude will pay off, that is of course that we don't concede too many goals.
