Martin who picked up an injury in extra time with Middlesbrough at the Riverside has been out for two and a half months with the injury which looked like only a slight niggle.

There are no fresh injury worries for Blackwell as he gives his team news for the game. He said:"We have one or two litle knocks but no real new injuries so i'm pleased about that becasue we have a fairly settle side.

"Lee (Martin) is back in contention having done a full week's training and he looks very sharp so he is in my mind. He is chomping at the bit end, to be fair, he could have stayed at Manchester United and rested on his laurels for rest of the season.

"But he wanted to come back becasue we have been doing very well and winning games and everyone wants to be involved. He was here last week but wasn't match fit enough for us, but this week has seen a big improvement."

In Hull's camp Richard Garcia and Henrik Pedersen are doubts. Ex-Blade Dean Windass may get in the starting line-up after a goal at Oakwell earlier in the week. Frazer Cambell is the on form frontman for City.
