Bristol City vs. Sheffield United

Following a devastating 2-1 defeat at home to Gillingham the Blades currently stand 23rd in the league; 'Gillingham recorded only their second away win of the season with Danny Kedwell and Cody McDonald scoring in a 2-1 victory at Sheffield United. Chris Porter found the net for the hosts, but the Blades slipped to a second defeat in four games under boss Nigel Clough. Harry Maguire's under-hit back pass led to the opening goal with keeper George Long's attempted clearance, under pressure from Kedwell, rebounding off the striker and going into the net.

The home side applied pressure with Porter heading off target and Simon Lappin having a shot touched wide by Gills keeper Stuart Nelson. Neill Collins also had a header cleared off the goal-line by Elliott Hewitt shortly before Porter equalised with a header from Lappin's corner in the 19th minute. Blades striker Shaun Miller tried a shot on the turn which was saved by Nelson.

But Gillingham regained the lead two minutes after the re-start when substitute McDonald followed up to score after John Mousinho's header rebounded off the crossbar. United's best chance to equalise fell to Porter, who headed wide, while both he and Miller also fired off target.'

Blades boss Nigel Clough is likely to be without midfielder Callum McFadzean (ankle) through injury. However he is without Febian Brandy whose red card at Shrewsbury on 2 November was his second of the season after he was dismissed at home to MK Dons on 31 August and will now serve a four match ban. He will miss the fixtures against; Colchester United (a - fac), Gillingham (h), former club Walsall (h) and Bristol City (a) and be available for selection for the away trip to Leyton Orient.

Bristol City, who are unbeaten in their last three league fixtures lay just 18th in the table following a 1-1 draw; 'Liam Ridehalgh's first goal for Tranmere earned Rovers a 1-1 draw against Bristol City - a result that extended both sides' unbeaten run to five games. Ronnie Moore's men remain in the League One relegation zone, though, while the Robins sit above the bottom four on goal difference after defender Ridehalgh cancelled out Sam Baldock's early opener shortly before half-time. Baldock beat the offside trap after 14 minutes, giving himself plenty of time to receive Bobby Reid's nicely weighted pass, to roll the ball beyond goalkeeper Jason Mooney for his sixth league goal of the season.

But Ridehalgh's driven strike from the edge of the box, his  first goal since January 2012, flew into the bottom corner of the net to level things up four minutes before the break. There was still time left in the first half for Jay Emmanuel-Thomas to force a good save from Mooney while Chris Atkinson saw his 25-yard shot slide wide early in the second period. City keeper Elliot Parish also needed to be alert to palm  Jake Kirby's cross from underneath his own crossbar in a frantic finish.'

Robins boss Sean O'Driscall are hoping to introduce Scott Wagstaff (knee) and Joe Bryan (leg) who have both been absent through injury.

Blades-Mad Prediction: Bristol City 1 Sheffield United 2
