Richard Cresswell started his career with York City in 1996 but it wasn't until eleven years later when once he moved up the Football League social ladder that he began to make appearances against London outfit Queens Park Rangers.

It is an illustrious record which we would like to see continue and add to his three goal tally he has already scored for the Blades since he made his original loan move from Stoke City this season - this move has since become a permanent one and to date has netted against the Hoops on both occasions that the Blades have come face to face with each other.

During his nine outings against the Loftus Road club he has only been on the receiving end of just one defeat; that came whilst with his previous club two seasons ago, whilst he can boast five victories in total.

Sheffield United travel to Loftus Road tonight to face the Hoops in the FA Cup third round replay; United will hope that his scoring prowess will be enough to guide them into the next round and set up a tie with Premier League Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium.
