Captain makes return

Barnsley born and bred, Morgan, suffered concussion in the win over Queens Park Rangers a week ago. But after participating in training he is raring to go and is a possibility to make an appearance against the Terriers in tomorrow nights Carling Cup match at the Galpharm Stadium.

United eased to a comfortable victory over Blackpool on Saturday and had a strong team out. But just like the encounter with Port Vale, Blackwell will treat other clubs with respect and put out a team which is more than capable of progressing to the next round.

Blackwell said: "There will be changes because I need to give lads games to make sure that everyone is match sharp for whenever they are needed. When injuries, loss of form or suspensions bite we need players who can come in fresh and up to speed so that we can maintain our winning run.

"I am fortunate to be in a position where I can make changes because I have such a big squad and the team I put out will be very strong.

It will be one that could easily take the field against Cardiff next Saturday and I will go out on a limb if we lose on Wednesday it will be because we are not good enough, not because of the changes."
