Carnaries v Blades Preview

Laurens Ten Heuvel and Michael Brown were both on substitutes bench on Sunday. Paul Peschisolido is also fit again after playing in a reserve fixture over a week ago.

It has been announced that Welsh International Robert Page will be out for another three weeks after he had a scan 10 days ago, adding to Neil Warnock's injury list is another defender Steve Yates who is out for four weeks after pulling up with a groin strain last Sunday.

Neil Warnock has said that he might have to bring in another defender until Page and Yates are fit again, but he could however chose to play young defenders Colin Cryan or Ben Doane in the crentre role.

On Sunday, when United attacked they look ok but desperately missed a striker to finish off the attack. Onoura was defiantly Iffy and I suggest that he be dropped in place of either Ten Heuvel or Peschisolido to partner Carl Asaba.

My suggestion is that United go to Carrow Road playing 4-4-2 formation with this line-up:

Paddy Kenny (GK), Robert Kozluk (RB), Shaun Murphy (CB), Colin Cryan (CB), Robert Ullathorne (LB), Jon-Paul McGovern (RM), Stuart McCall (CM), Michael Brown (CM), Michael Tonge (LM), Paul Peschisolido (LF), Carl Asaba (RF).

As far as I know the Carnaries have no injury worries, but they could be missing Irwin Roberts if he is called up for Wales (I have also heard that the game could be called off).

In last seasons encounter at Carrow Road United lost 2-1 to a very poor Norwich side in front of ITV cameras. With 15 minutes left Norwich scored two goals, United got a late consolation in Michael Brown when he struck in a 18 yard shot which flew into top corner.

Prediction: Norwich are lying 2nd and will be looking to pick up 3 points. United will have to defend very well but I can only see the Blades stealing a draw if they have a bit of luck on their side.
