In a form guide which has seen Sheffield United defeated once in the last five matches (in all competitions), the Blades will be looking for all three points against bottom of the table Crewe Aleaxndra before they take a weekend break from League One next weekend. Having lost to Millwall last weekend nityed will need to improve if they are to achieve promotion come the end of the season.

Aiden O'Brien scored twice to give Millwall a third straight victory, winning 2-1 at Sheffield United. Jose Baxter was on target for the hosts but Millwall had enough thanks to O'Brien. Millwall carved out a couple of early chances with Fred Onyedinma shooting wide from the right-hand side of the area and Mark Beevers heading wide after meeting George Saville's corner. United's Che Adams grazed the outside of Jordan Archer's right-hand post with a low 20-yard shot and Chris Basham had a goal-bound shot blocked.

It was first blood to Millwall when O'Brien (30) got his head to a ball played into the area by Shaun Cumming and steered the ball beyond keeper Mark Howard. Saville then tested Howard with a low drive which forced the keeper to get down to his right to save. Baxter (70) equalised with a fine, first-time shot past Archer following Kieron Freeman's low cross. O'Brien (80) scored the winner, sliding in to meet Shane Ferguson's ball across the face of goal and force the ball over the line.

Blades boss Nigel Adkins is boosted by the return of midfielder Ryan Flynn, who is hoping to make his first start in six matches. Flynn stepped off the bench in last week's home defeat to Millwall after recovering from a groin problem and has come through a further week of training unscathed.

Boss Nigel Adkins revealed he had 26 outfield players training on Thursday - his healthiest squad since he took charge in the summer - but despite no new injury or suspension problems several players remain sidelined.

Defenders Bob Harris (pelvis), John Brayford (knee), Craig Alcock (hip and ribs) and David Edgar (hamstring), plus midfielder James Wallace (thigh) are still out.

Blades-Mad Prediction: Crewe Alexandra 1 Sheffield United 3
