Blackpool came back from two goals to eventually draw 2-2 at Burnley last Saturday. The Clarets took the lead on 52nd minute through substitute Steve Jones before Wes Hoolahan (73) netted from the penalty spot.

Former Blades striker Ade Akinbiyi thought he had netted the winner with four minutes remaining until Andy Morrell supplied the equaliser in the final minute of the match.

The Seasiders go into the game against Sheffield United without any injury worries or suspensions.

Possible Seasiders Line-Up: Paul Rachubka, Shaun Barker, Ian Evatt, Michael Jackson, Stephen Crainey, Wes Hoolahan, David Fox, Keith Southern, Keigan Parker, Andy Morrell, Gary Taylor-Fletcher.

United go into the game at Blackpool on back of a 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Blades dominated the first 20 minutes minutes of the game before handing power over to Wolves who took the lead via Stephen Elliot (23rd minute).

United looked less than impressive until second half when James Beattie (56) got in when it hurt to head a bouncing ball over Wayne Hennessey who collided with Beattie in the process.

And, with eight minutes remaining the Blades were rewarded with a penalty after James Beattie was dragged down in the area, Beattie (82) picked himself up to coolly slam home to finally put the Blades ahead.

Wolverhampton manager Mick McCarthy rung in the changes and brought on striking duo Jay Bothroyd and Freddy Eastwood with little effect. The Molineux faithful pushed forward in search of a goal; United caught their opposition on the break and two minutes into the time added on substitute Jonathan Stead found himself one-on-one with the keeper with Stead coming out on top.

The Blades will travel to Lancashire without defender Derek Geary who will serve the second of a three match suspension following his red card given at Scunthorpe United in that 3-2 defeat on 1 September.

Defender Gary Naysmith returned to starting eleven after missing a few weeks out injured but the Blades will be without Lee Hendrie

(knee) and Rob Hulse (broken leg) who are both in light training.

Possible Blades Line-Up: Paddy Kenny, Leigh Bromby, Chris
Morgan, Matthew Kilgallon, Gary Naysmith, Keith Gillespie, Michael Tonge, Alan Quinn, Chris Armstrong, James Beattie, Danny Webber.
