The Blades come into the game following a dramatic game against Crystal Palace last Saturday when United came from behind from 1-2 down with five minutes remaining to win the game 3-2.

Neil Danns (18 minutes) netted from the spot after he had been fouled by Jean Calve but on 39th minute Richard Cresswell put his penalty away following Ched Evans tumble in the box.

Palaces were reduced to ten men when Owen Garvan was dismissed for descent. Early in the second half the visitors took the lead via the head of James Vaughan before Julian Speroni kept out an assault of chances before Evans (85) finally broke the deadlock.

Minutes later Daniel Bogdanovic was fouled in the box and he stepped up to the breach to win the game before he too was sent off; 3-2.

Taking positives out of the game it was good to see all three strikers find the back of the net when throughout this season's campaign the Blades have struggled in front of goal.

Blades boss Gary Speed is without a number of key players; Captain Chris Morgan (knee) has been sidelined for the remainder of the season through injury, whilst; Nick Montgomery (Achilles), Ryan France (back),Darius Henderson (hamstring) and Lee Williamson (back) are also unavailable.

He is also expected to be without striker Daniel Bogdanovic following his sending off against the Eagles and will serve a three match suspension which will also require him to miss the fixtures against Reading (at Bramall Lane) and former club Barnsley at Oakwell.

The exclusion of Bogdanovic is likely to pave the way for Jordan Slew who made his debut at home to Watford earlier this season; the youngster has impressed whilst featuring for the Blades Reserves and Academy sides.

Expected Eleven: Simonsen, Calve, Bartley, Nosworthy, Jordan, Yeates, Montgomery, Britton, Reid, Evans, Cresswell.

Bristol City outwit the Foxes last Saturday as the Robins where left chirping following their 2-0 victory over Leicester City.

Second half goals from substitutes Brett Pitman (57) and David Clarkson (90) gifted the Ashton Gate side a double lead - for Pitman his was his first goal of the season in City colours. Leicester City had already squandered there opportunity when Steve Howard failed from the spot.

This victory left the Robins three points from safety (21st in the table) and could overtake the Blades this weekend who are better off with a two point deficit.

The Robins only injury concern is Right Full-Back Louis Carey (bruised shin and knee) who received a knock against Leeds United a fortnight ago; however he may return to face United.

Expected Eleven: James, Fontaine, Caulker, McAlister, Ribeiro, Rose, Elliott, Adomah, Johnson, Skuse, Stead.
